Mahmoud Abdelfattah is a former assistant coach for the Houston Rockets and NBA G League Coach of the Year (2021–22). He led the Rio Grande Valley Vipers to back-to-back championships, earning recognition for his leadership and impact. A former player and a proud Chicago native, Mahmoud is passionate about mentoring youth and empowering the next generation of basketball talent. In 2023, he served as the head coach of the Sydney Kings (NBL) and continues to share his expertise through coaching and camps. In 2025, Mahmoud joined Team USA as an assistant coach for the Men’s AmeriCup Qualifying Team.
